TRISHNA NATIONAL PARK
The natural beauty of this National Park with 190 sq km of dense evergreen forests combining cluster of big trees and heavy undergrowth of herbs and climbers is simply astonishing. A number of large water bodies inside the Park attract a huge variety of avifauna as well as facilitates good game viewing. The Park harbours a good population of Elephant, Tiger, Leopard, Gaur, Wild Boar, Muntjack, Hog Deer, Langoor and Macaque.
Accessibility: A 110kms drive from Agartala, the capital of the state, takes one to the Park. Agartala is well connected by air and road.
Accommodation: There is a Forest Rest House inside the Park.
Season: October to April.
