LALI WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
LALI WILDLIFE SANCTUARY This arresting wildlife refuge covers an area of 190 sq km of dense evergreen vegetation and shelters a sizable population of Bison, Elephant, Soft Ground Barsingha, Hog Deer, Langoor, Squirrel and Leopard. The sanctuary has a number of watchtowers, strategically positioned, which offers a panoramic view of the verdant woods along with ample animal sighting at dawn and dusk. Accessibility : The nearest town of Pasighat is only 16kms away. Pasighat is well connected by road from Itanagar (270kms) and Tejpur (482kms). Accommodation : Forest Rest House is available inside the sanctuary. One can also stay in Hotels and Govt. Rest Houses at Pasighat. Season : October to April.
